BioSonics offers training for all levels of user experience. You can choose to attend one of our Hydroacoustic Assessment Workshops, or we can bring the training to your location – either in the classroom or on the job. If you’re interested in advanced training for a particular hydroacoustic application, please contact us.

Your purchase of a BioSonics echosounder system, entitles you to attend one of our regularly scheduled Hydroacoustic Assessment Workshops for free!

Our workshops are held at our company headquarters in Seattle, Washington. The course content includes a review of hydroacoustic theory as well as practical training and tips for echosounder operation, field calibration and transducer mounting. Combining lecture, demonstrations, laboratory exercises, and a mobile survey on Lake Washington, our workshops provide an overview of the latest techniques for hydroacoustic data collection and processing.
